The glow of candlelight; the angelic sound of children's voices - a glorious evening of seasonal music. Join Cantaré Children's Choir in our much-anticipated return to public performance as our three acclaimed ensembles of children present a luminous candlelight celebration of the Christmas season through song and carols on Saturday, December 18 at 7:30 PM at Knox United Church.
Our Cantare ensemble will present "SNOW ANGEL" by Canadian composer Sarah Quartel. Through song and narrative, this five-movement work weaves together stories of love and light, rebirth and rejuvenation, and highlights the strength and beauty a child’s voice can bring to our often troubled world.
The concert venue is participating in Alberta’s Restrictions Exemption Program. The following is required for all patrons 12 years of age or older:
Proof of Vaccination Record (QR code either print or digital) OR
A written or printed copy that indicates the individual has tested negative for COVID-19 on a Health Canada approved rapid antigen, rapid PCR, or lab based PCR test within 72 hours of the event AND
Government issued ID that matches the document they present at entry.
Masks securely covering the mouth, nose and chin must be worn by all guests. Please note this concert is most suitable for children 6 and over.
Because the concert venue is participating in the Restrictions Exemption Program, and all patrons are required to be fully vaccinated or present a negative test, we will be offering regular seating.
Regretfully, we are unable to offer our usual pre-concert Wine Reception nor our post-concert Reception.
Wheelchair and companion seats are offered.
We ask that all patrons be seated by 720 PM. Latecomers cannot be seated until after the candlelight segment.
Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Pre-Sale Tickets will be offered until 8 AM on Friday, December 17th.
